Keeping young men off the street and in the dirt since, um, as long as I can remember. This is Elijah and Huck after having replaced this tire. We’re a family outfit: Jenkins dad and two sons, Miller dad and two sons. So far!

We sell log length firewood to both commercial outfits and individuals. Gotta find a use for everything we cut!

One market we have for cedar as small as 3″ diameter, twisted, rotten, or otherwise defective is an outfit that sells sweet smelling mulch.

Running an efficient outfit requires constant investment in both staff and machinery. On the trailer is a brand new forwarder we purchased in November of 2021.

Here’s our brand new harvester that was delivered in January of 2023. I can hardly wait for next year!

Cedar forest on the left, cleared ground on the right, and stuff to be cut straight ahead of the machine. This job called for leaving any hardwoods behind, so you can see the saplings we’re trying to avoid.

This job was nearly 100 percent cedar that had grown over the years in abandoned pastures.

When we sell especially high quality logs the buyer sometimes wants to have us carefully inspect each one and scale it to be sure the load is 100%.
